There are a few other mods out there like this one, where it will identify the dinos and make them visable in the world, but I didn't care for some of the limitations or the visual aspects of them, so I created my own.
NOTE :: THIS IS BETA AND SLOWLY ADDING THINGS TO IT. PLEASE DO NOT COMPLAIN IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THIS, BUT I WELCOME NEW IDEAS.
FEATURES :
- Displays Dino Name, HP (when below 100%) and Torpor (when above 0%) and Taming amount (when taming is above 0%)
- Dino names will be displayed in White, except for Carno type of dinos which are Red (Carno meaning, they eat meat)
- The refresh time is every 5secs, and the range is 15000
- Dino detection requires Line of Sight (by default - optional to turn this off in GUI)
- ability to optionally present alert when search / filter dino is found.
FUTURE PLANS :
- ability to Cycle through Dinos, Tribe Members, Containers, Damaged Structures, etc.
- GUI to allow filter/seaching.
- Possably fuel / usable component for tracking of specific dinos. (open to ideas on this)
- ability to Tag dinos, to display there hp/torpor, etc as part of the interface to track dinos (good for taming)
- show if dino is tamable or not.
USAGE:
- craft trigger
- equipt and use trigger to activate
- use trigger second time to access the GUI which you can change some settings, or deactivate the tracker.
- later on, will provide GUI with the same method for added options.
