All credit to Zythara for allowing me to use their DodoReaper model and bring it to you all!
This mod brings a balanced “Dodoreaper” to your arks. Because we don't have enough DodoMonsters. This one however is a permanent, rare tame! It is also a STANDALONE of the Additional Creatures series, requiring no other mods to run!
DodoReapers function the same way as normal reapers in that they take reduced damage unless coated in charge light. They can also dig (not when mounted)
-Tames on Extraordinary Kibble
-Spawns in: Monster Island, Mountains, Wasteland Hard, Forbidden Zone, Sulfur Fields, Element Chamber, Genesis Volcano
-Immune to: fire attacks, being set on fire, sulfur pools, lava, radiation
-knockout tame
-radial wheel to dig (aesthetic)
-They gain more levels on tame than normal creatures, unintended, but I assume it's leftover level code from how reapers are normally tamed (gestation levels)
-Can toggle turret mode and special attacks
-While they have genders, DodoReapers cannot breed (due to a glitch with reapers and breeding the adults). However they have higher stat scaling in health and melee than most creatures to compensate for this.
-Left click bite. Deals good damage
-Right click web shot. Same as a normal reaper, cocoons target on hit.
-C key tailspin. Mediocre damage but an AoE. Minor cooldown
-X key firebreath. Similar to the Fire Wyvern's. Cannot be used with insufficient stam.
-Left control roar, for aesthetic.
-Shift+C does the DodoReaper's Thorn AoE. This will cause the dodoreaper to swipe its tail in front of itself and shoot spines around itself. These spines do piercing damage like a Reaper Queen's spines, but do not do torpor (and are also stronger!). While it is an AoE, the spines are concentrated more behind you and to your front left. Costs a high amount of stam and cannot be used with insufficient stam
-Spacebar to jump (can be held like normal reapers)
-While Dodoreapers have a saddle slot, this mod gives them no saddle (due to reaper's already absurd natural armor). However, this is done to give compatibility to my Booster Saddles mod, which has a form of “Saddle” (Which gives no armor) to Reapers:
