Rejoice for no more rusty metal!
This mod adds a metal, glass and greenhouse tiers of building pieces.
I have cleaned up all the textures and removed the rust from them so they are nice and clean.
The greenhouse tier materials has been highly modified to remove quite a bit of the lag caused by them and is much cleaner looking and accepts dye much better.
New Tier of structures:
Cage Tier:
Cage Tier only have one engram for all the structures and is learned at level 52.
Cage tier structure are metal barred structures that all the walls, windows, doors, doorways and gates can be fired through to knock out or kill your mightiest of foes.
This is a full tier of structures including catwalk, walls, half wall, large wall, XL wall, window and window wall, sloped walls, ramp with a stair variant, both square and triangle ceilings and roofs, hatch and hatchway, gates and behemoth gates and their gateways, doors, double doors and their doorways.
Due to collision issues causing player\'s, dino\'s and placement of other structures (Like crafting benches and the like) doing weird and undesirable things the ceilings, roofs, ramps and hatchways cannot be fired though and are as if they were solid in that respect.
New Items.
Chemistry Bench: Improved collision and stuff can now be placed on it.
Fabricator: Can have blueprints intalled and can also craft these new items added in this update as well as the crafting station.
Sound has been changed so it no longer sounds just like the generator.
AC: Same size and shape as the S+ version and snaps to themselves and to window frames.
Fridge: Not new but has been cleaned up further and color matched to all the other new items.
Generator: It is smaller, better collision, cleaner and now animated.
Works like a regular generator but with an INI setting it will be a wireless generator like the Tek generator but still runs on gas.
Industrial Cooking Pot: Reworked into just a single pot instead of the standard two.
Can disable autocrafting.
By default it no longer requires snapping to a pipe and can be placed on the ground or floor. Can be disabled via INI.
By default it no longer requires a water connection to work. Can be disabled via INI.
Industrial Forge: It is smaller than the vanilla version by default and has had a rework to the mesh and collision.
Industrial Grill: Smaller than vanilla.
Industrial Grinder: The model has been heavily reworked and been made much smaller.
Has a new sound so it no longer sounds like the generator.
Works like the S+ version.
Outlet: Has a reworked model.
CM Square and triangle crop plots: Snap to foundations & ceilings. Disable with G.
Can toggle visibility of sides.
Grows crops faster and more plentiful than any other crop plot including Tek.
Can get up to a 600% greenhouse bonus and has a higher per plot maximum item count.
Can be set via INI to be able to be placed underwater.
Can be set via INI to not need to be watered.
Clean Metal Storage:
Bookshelf in metal and glass.(600 slots)
Metal Storage (300 slots)
Vault (smaller, cleaner, and stacks)(600 slots)
Refrigerator: (smaller, cleaner, Not olive green, paintable and stacks)(300 slots)
The Metal Storage, Fridge and Vault can be labeled.
I have also added a few new structures as well. Glass Railing, Glass Gateway, Glass Behemoth Gateway, Glass and Metal Signs, Glass Window Wall, Glass Ladder and all sizes of glass pillars and a vanilla length pillar in glass and metal. (has vanilla snap points as well) Floating Foundation and Triangle Floating Foundation. (can be placed on water and acts like... well a foundation)(I didn\'t like S+ version so I\'ve created my own model)(these are NOT a tek item so no element is needed)
It includes a transparency, demo, model and dynamic pillar setting guns.
It is base off of the S+ open source mod and has all the building pieces for the Metal, Glass and Greenhouse tiers.
Do not worry though because unlike most S+ based mods this mod is clean and stackable with S+, SS, N+ and
others like them. All file names have been changed.
I have based the snap points off of the current S+ snaps so S+ stuff (crop plots and such) will snap to my structures just like they do with S+. How ever the internal wires and pipes do not.
SS and some other S+ variants based off the older S+ open source files do not do this as the newer snaps from S+ use a tag based system instead of his older direct file reference type.
The sad parts:
You must use the included guns (excluding the demo gun) on the structures in this mod as the S+ guns and variants will not work with them and mine do not work on theirs. (a side effect of making it stackable with S+)
This mod respects the servers pick up settings and only contains building pieces and none of the other S+ stuff.
